Accidentally guessed a new longest word?

Thought I'd start a new thread. I just did a 5x5 puzzle, which I like to do to find the longest words possible. I completely guessed a word I have never heard before on accident: phytoplankters. I was thinking about plankton and had no idea that plankton was term for a group of different plankters. I thought it too coincidental that phytoplankt was in the puzzle and just added the -ers and voila!

I've been playing a few months now and that's definitely the longest "guessed" word I've come up with. 27 points and 14 letters.

I just did too. REFLEXIBILITIES. 30 points, 15 letters. I didn't know the word (turns out it's a synonym for reflectabilities), but I found REFLEX and FLEXIBILITIES, and was running out of words that I could see, so gave it a shot.

I may have guessed longer ones (just by adding something I wasn't sure would fit on a shorter base word), but the one that I remember surprising me the most was TRIPERSONALISTS. (I hope I have that right. Anyway, something about believing in the holy trinity.) I couldn't find anything else reasonable & I wanted to type something to pass the time.

I found HYDROXY, assumed it wasn't a coincidence. Kept trying different endings, then right before the time ran out I made the right slightly educated guess. That's just one I thought of that was memorable, similar instances have occurred.

I remember finding longheadednesses in a puzzle. That to me made some sense because of shortheadedness.

Just found it. First I recognised HYDRO immediately, then DI before it. Then I saw TAMINE, which is an ending. Then I tried ERGO in the middle. Success, plus I knew Hamster missed it because he had points and word record on it. He's hard to beat on best/longest word.

I just guessed PHYTOPATHOLOGIES!

I just got MICROPALEONTOLOGIES. Don't know how that popped into my brain because I really struggle with long words of 8 or 9 letters, let alone super long words!
