Default Words no one ever finds

In analyzing my games, I've been identifying words that I missed most frequently (so I can start trying to use them). One metric for study order would be to multiply frequency I missed them times score for word. That would give total points lost over all these games.

For example, TAIS (6 pts) is my biggest miss. Very common and I practically never guess it. Over 811 games, I missed it a whopping 110 times, losing nearly a point a game on average!

But a curious thing happened: a lot of words I missed don't have point values for this calculation. That happens if *no one* has guessed the word over all these games, which means my post-mortem script can't find the point value.

So, a new challenge for myself: start finding those never-found words, if only so I know their point values! Here's the list, in order of frequency. As you see, some of them are remarkably common, showing up in as many as 10% of all games. (TIES is the most common overall, appearing 148 times)

And yes, I recognize that if no one has even *guessed* the word, it's almost certainly classified as rare. So it's really more a fun challenge than a vital bit of research.

Wow this is cool. I miss most all of these. There are a handful I already look for. I'm going to start looking for some of these.

I don't even know what my favorite part of this is. Is it the menacing whiff of robotic overlord water-cooler talk ("Itís also not going to be understood by means of a few parts of the humans with whom you use it")?

Or is it the straight-up factual statements, the truth up front to obscure the lie ("Biblioklept is, in at the least some sense of the phrase, fairly useless. It is two syllables longer than e-book thief")?

I can hear the algorithms coming for us, their bitmapped feet making perfect ninety-degree turns, their heads in the clouds. They are so stupid, and yet so are we.
