Had an interesting morning session last week. Found 24 best/longest words for records in 90 mins. It usually takes my brain an hour or so to get going in the morning but that day it was fired up and ready to go.

Some words I never played before and set records with since I last posted:
PERNICKETINESSES 31/17 (The UK alternative of persnickety)
MICROMANIPULATORS 32/16
ANTHROPOMETRISTS 30/16
PSYCHOTOMIMETICALLY 36/19
ANAMORPHOSCOPES 18/15 (knew anamorph was a prefix so tried it with -oscopes)
WITHDRAWNNESSES 28/15
SACCHARIMETERS 26/14 (I surmised it measured saccharines and it worked!)
EXHIBITIONISTICALLY 30/19
UNPUNCTUALITIES 28/15
DEXTROAMPHETAMINES 36/28 (proud of that one, finding the dextro- prefix)
MUDDLEHEADEDNESSES 34/18
TRICHLOROACETIC 28/15 (I made sure to also check for tetra- kate! )
STEREOFLUOROSCOPE 32/17 (Said to my wife 30 mins before I found this "I've never seen fluoroscopes on a board." Pretty eery when I saw it.)

I played a game where Spike had the best word record for 38 pts. I saw fluid and dynamics on the board but couldn't find his word so let the game time out. Turned out to be MAGNETOFLUIDDYNAMICS! Great find in patching that word together, Spike! Did you happen to hear it somewhere before?
I managed to piece together your 37 pt word: DIMETHYLHYDRAZINES. Good find as well.

That sounds like a great morning's work! Some of those I probably wouldn't have guessed.

Anyway, I've normally seen magnetohydrodynamics, but, like you, I found MAGNETO- and -DYNAMICS and filled in the middle. I was surprised that it worked. As for DIMETHYLHYDRAZINES, you work with what you can cobble together, and sometimes it works.
