My first board of 2018 I played PALEOGEOGRAPHERS for 30 pts. At least I'm staying competitive with you guys.

Last week I played a board where I had already found STREETINGS for 2 records. I noticed MAIN in the upper left corner and thought, "Might as well try it." MAINSTREETINGS was worth 26 pts! Tried looking up the definition in lexic.us but nothing there. Googled the singular and none of the dictionaries had it. So, apparently it's solely a WordTwist proprietary word. I felt privileged to have uncovered it. lol

Edit: Last night I played SPLEENIEST for 18 pts (no records though). lol
Adjective. full of spleen; melancholy
I hope everyone isn't spleeny today and definitely not feeling the spleeniest of all!

I too have been having some luck with prefixes this year. (It sounds like such a long time!) Been targeting boards that have some words in the Ultra Rare/9+ section of the chart but no one has found anything substantial yet. In addition to finding DEMUTUALIZATIONS (prev best MUTUALIZATIONS), I found ANTIFORMALISTS (prev best FORMALISTS) and just now MACROCOSMICALLY (prev best COMICALLY). Working on it!

Excellent work mcdonna! We're all getting better. I didn't know until last week we are all COTEMPORANEOUS until I played it and then looked it up.

Even Google thought I meant CONTEMPORANEOUS!

It's a pleasure to be COTEMPORANEOUS with you, Lalatan!

Haha, yeah, I thought there'd be con- to make CONTEMPORANEOUS but not so.

Thanks mcdonna. It's a pleasure to be COTEMPORANEOUS with you too.

Something happened last month I never experienced here. I set records of 40/20 with EXTEMPORANEOUSNESSES 4 times! Each board was laid out the same but the current record holders and games played were different each time. Are they cloning or reproducing themselves now??!! Always something on this website to pique your curiosity. lol

Last night I spotted -nesses on a board and set out to find something to pair with it. Wasn't much there that I recognized but I first tried FRANGIBLE (vaguely similar to fragile), never before even seeing or hearing the word. Wow: 1. Adjective. Able to be broken; breakable; fragile.
Then played FRANGIBLENESSES for 22 pts, 2 records. Saw re- and ventured REFRANGIBLENESSES. 32 pts, whaaat??/!!
Refrangible
1. a. Capable of being refracted, or turned out of a direct course, in passing from one medium to another, as rays of light.
Unreal.
