Congrats DrP!

So many words have 4 or 5+ spellings, espresso ought to have at least as many spellings as there are ways to order it at Starbucks.

Enjoy!

DISENCHANTRESS
I got DISENCHANTS and ENCHANTRESS and thought I'd try the combination. I didn't check the definition, but I have this image in my mind of a bitter old witch who's lost her magic powers and now spends all her time telling kids that Santa doesn't exist.

I wouldn't have guessed that one. Great "picture" to go with it.

Btw. Don't know if you included me when posting about player levels/league and don't want to disenchant, but you should know after I've played some of the games you've played .. you certainly seem to be ahead of mine.

Nice Find! Enjoy!

Lol... In my mind I'm still a newbie ...but in the last few months I've been setting specific goals and sticking to them. Focusing on one stat only is working out well for me.

Lol, I just saw EELPOUT in a word list. It immediately conjured up in my mind a snake-like fish that is permanently sulking.

Official definition: Marine eel-like mostly bottom-dwelling fishes of northern seas.

Since they're bottom-dwelling we're unlikely to see their pouty faces.

Of course, if you did want to catch one, you'd likely use an EELPOT.

I've been trying a lot of words that start with UP- lately.

Today:
UPTILT
UPLEAN (and also UPLEANS and UPLEANT)

Good finds DrP.

Here's one I didn't expect to be real: UPFOLLOW
Found these when I looked it up: UPFOLLOWS, UPFOLLOWED, UPFOLLOWING definition: to come next [verb. free dictionary . com]

I've seen a few, but can't figure out how "up" works on some of them so back to the stacks I go. Hi Ho!

Enjoy!

I genuinely didn't expect to get points for this, but knowing my art history helped.

FAUVE

1. noun
one of a group of French painters prominent from 1905, including Matisse, Vlaminck, and Derain, characterized by the use of bright colours and simplified forms

2. adjective (often not capital)
of this group or its style
