What a shame. Yet another word missing from the WordTwist dictionary. Mine lists it as lalatan, n. 1. One who boggles very well, 2. Record hunter extraordinaire.

Lol, Spike. That's good to know. At first I was disappointed it was invalid but then thought, if it was, it could have an unflattering connotation.

Thanks a bunch kate! Very creative way of stating that (gave me a chuckle) but that's who you are. You also have an array of impressive Boggling skills, a very well-rounded, adept player.
Sorry that I missed your post before now since it was posted 3 mins before my last post. I played some more games w/o looking at the news feed and then cooked breakfast.
Have a great day and enjoy the games!

HERMETICALLY wasn't available and I was pretty sure HERMITICALLY wouldn't work, but it turns out to be the adverb for living like a hermit. Good for 22 points and a board record.

TECHNOPOLIS, TECHNOPOLITAN, and TECHNOPOLITANS count, it turns out. A technopolis is a science park, "technopolitan" means of or relating to a place or society dominated by technology.

thanks for sharing that one, DrP!

Just played PRESENTATIONISM ... and surprisingly it was accepted.

Turns out it has nothing to do with PowerPoint. It's "the doctrine that in perception, or in all forms of knowledge, there is an immediate awareness of the things perceived. Also called presentative realism."

Who knew?

I played that last week. I'll tack on -ism to any long word if it's available (and I see it). I didn't look it up since there's a high probability that I will forget it within a week anyway. Too many bizarre words stashed in the attic, it seems.

Nice find kate! It's a chemistry term but also makes me think of when guys wore polyester leisure suits back in the day.
