My favorite word of all time, though I haven't found it on WordTwist yet, is APTERYX. I believe it was some kind of dinosaur, but I haven't looked at the definition in a while.

Kudos to DrPlacebo for finding PARADICHLOROBENZENES.

GRUNTLE

Always whelmed to find gruntle.

I keep looking for more words like them. Always makes me smile to see them and joke with friends about them. The poor, almost forgotten little words.

Good games everyone, Enjoy!

I just found PUZZLEHEADNESSES for 37 points.

Definition of Puzzleheadedness

1. Noun. The quality of being puzzleheaded; foolish confusion.

LOL, that pretty well describes all of us at various times, especially when we can't see the big word until the game is being submitted.

(TR, I am also lalatan. I use this username when I go big-game hunting, aka looking for only high-scoring words. )

That's one of the more curious examples of the "nesses" words that have been played. I've recently found "foursquarenesses" and "interestingnesses" which also seemed a bit odd to me!

Haha, for sure there are plenty of odd ones like that. I saw UNBELIEVINGNESSES once. I think that's too much of a stretch for a valid word but I don't run the website. I played foursquarenesses once because strangely enough I found out years ago that foursquare in the middle of the last century meant something was solid and complete.

The suffix -less is also an interesting one. I just got points for JAILLESS, which I couldn't believe was a word.

Not a -less word, but the same board also contained SEMICOLONIALISMS, also surprising to me.

"Toadless" is also a word which as you can see from my avatar is not a condition from which I suffer

PTOSES.

I think it's the first time I've found a word beginning with the letters PT.
