10. It's a healthy addiction (if I don't count the Christmas cookies and pop next to the keyboard!)

9. When over 100 people have played a board, and I still can find a new word!

8. When I type a made up word in my head, and it's a real word, with lots of points!

7. When I type a made up word in my head, and it's a real word, and there is an "S" next it, for even more points!

6. When I've had a crappy day at work, and I can come home and unwind for a few minutes by exercising my brain.

5. The cat jumps on the tower next to me, and rubs on my knee for good luck while I am typing like a maniac.

4. When I come up with a new word that beats long time champs.

3. When I beat my own records, especially number of words typed/found.

2. When I'm the first to play a board.

1. When I'm one of the first few people to play the board, and I break all four records. I know, cheap thrill, but nonetheless, seeing those stars next to my words and numbers is fun.

My second favorite thrill would be getting a new record on a board that has been played a lot (60-100+ times).

My favorite would be destroying a record on a board that has been played a lot (60-100+ times).

It's also fun seeing yourself get more experienced -- I've been breaking my personal high score once every day or two for the last week. Up to 460-something from 370-ish (which I expected I'd never ever come close to again)

I like it when i beat the record of one of the upper-echelon players, like you Crovax. Also, I like finding unusual long words. I think the one I was most proud of was "squamate"

I love to get unusual and long words as well. People ask me what some of them mean as if I made them up, such as quartains. I was using spellchecker the other day and it tried to make me change Katrina to quartains. My 7 year old grandson said, "Hey, that's that weird word you used in Boggle for all those points!" I felt vindicated (hey another good word).
