I may be dense but what relevance have the numbers that show in brackets when the words found have been put up?

Also do the puzzle stats that show at the same time, refer to the game just played, or are they over all the times that puzzle has been played?

Hi memee -

The puzzle stats show both your results (having just played that puzzle) as well as the historical results that others have made playing the same puzzle. You'll see your score as well as:

- high score ever on this puzzle
- most words ever on this puzzle
- highest scoring word ever played on this puzzle
- longest word ever played on this puzzle

The list of words at the end of the game are all words that have ever been played on the puzzle you just finished. Words in red were played by others in the past and were missed by you. Words in black were played both by you and by others in the past. Words in green were "unique finds" which you played and which no previous players had ever found in that puzzle.

i believe the numbers in brackets are the point values for the word, correct?

that one took me a few games to figure out :-)
