Records Bug?

I was playing this morning and had over 70 records for most points, 2 hours later I have only 45....

Is there someone that good playing this morning or is it a bug in the records? Just curious...

Hi Yammocakes -

Unfortunately we had to do some database cleanup to keep things running smoothly, and part of that was removing all game boards from the pre-SOWPODS era (i.e. when we switched dictionaries earlier this summer). I admit I did this without realizing the effect it would have on records that were set on pre-SOWPODS games.

The data for these old games is stored away safely in a backup file and I'll see if I can reinstate the old records without actually having to reinstate all the old boards.

I'm having the same problem. All of a sudden I have no highest score and most words records and the number of best words and longest words were greatly reduced. I'ld appreciate it greatly if you (admin) found a way to reinstate the missing records. Thanks always.
