After ages with my highest score in 5x5 at 399, I finally broke it with a 430 score! Whee! It felt like I was moving along pretty darn quickly, and thanks to a good board and zero interruptions (all too rare), I did it.

This may be just a tiny tiny star in the Boggle universe, but it was MY star to reach for and I couldn't be happier. It has been a curious thing because my highest 4x4 score has been 299 for a long time too... Maybe soon I will shoot for another tiny star.

mamalu - I thinks sometimes the tiny stars mean the most - I too have been stuck at 309 as high score (4x4) for a while, but my average points keep rising; that wll do for now as the game is too addicting to give up!

There some amazing players on this site and it is all too easy to get discouraged by some of the scores they reach. I came to this site expecting to excel (and because I could no longer find anyone willing to play with me!) (ex-english prof etc). and have been humbled and amazed every day since. But I am too stubborn to give up and the gave is just way too fun to stop - so
celebrate your 430 and then go shoot for 500!

Oh, yes! I know exactly what you mean about not being to find anyone who will play with me either! lol One of my favorite books is The Joy of Lex. I don't have your credentials, but I have had a lifelong love affair with words. Combine that with tenacity (okay, maybe stubbornness) and insomnia, well... I'm just happy to have found this excellent site where I can play as much as I want and more than I should! :o
