Does the height of the Star in the bell curve

Does the height of the Star in the bell curve showing my score mean anything? It is especially noticeable when my score is near average the the star is sometimes up near the peak of the curve and sometimes close to the baseline. I realize that the bell curve shown is not the actual plot of the scores for each board but is an idealized one.

I would appreciate knowing the answer to this, I have been wondering about it for a while and haven't found any other thread here in the forum and FAQ that answered this question.

No the placement of the star doesn't mean anything. The chart is just a statistical tool to show percentile.
