Incorrect statistics

Both on the hall of fame (http://www.wordtwist.org/halloffame.php) and on one's lifetime stats there appears to be something wrong with the statistics. If they were correct you should be appear to divide the total points by the games played to get the average score. However, in some cases the figures appear to be far off. What is wrong?

My lifetime stats are also incorrect - they are frozen somewhere in my first month of playing. However, they are off for everyone - the "lifetime hall of
fame" is also off. Not sure what causes it . . .

A bigger problem, at least for me lately, is games played to the end which
accumulate points until the end but show up as "zero" points and zero words,
but count the game in number of games played. This is the first day of the
month, and I have already had three games do this; it drops your average
score significantly. Anybody know what causes this,or how to avoid it?
