Why can't I stay logged in?

I keep having to log in every few minutes for some reason because my name doesn't stay at the top. Why is this?

Hi Alexandra -

This is usually because either (1) you don't have cookies enabled on your browser or (2) you don't select the "remember me?" checkbox when you login. Checking that box will often fix this problem for most users.
