Does anyone find that, when finding a new word and use it in another game ,that it does not get accepted ; "ISIT" is a recent case for me, and awhile ago I saw that "AUNTE" had been used but was not accepted when the arrangement of the letters made it possible for it to be played?
I think i was spelling ITIS!!!

Yes, my wife just commented on that. Sometimes words work, and sometimes they don't.

I have seen that happen a lot. I asked the question, and was told that the english language adds new words daily and also deletes words daily. So what might be a word today is not the next. Sometimes I can play a German word and other times I can't. I have no idea if that is true.

I read somewhere in the forum a post from the admin that explained it, but I can't find it to link it right now ...
Anyway, the list of words in the board is generated at the same time the board is generated, so when the dictionary is updated (I don't know how often this happens, but I know it has happened) there may be words in the new boards that were not accepted before, and vice versa. It's happened to me, and I know it's frustrating, but it's best just to move on and not let the word break your flow - don't try to type the word five times and waste precious seconds.
