Error Message

This has been coming up about every 25 or so games for the last 2 or more days. There will be 4 lines each time numbered consecutively. The word grid will be all 0's. Anyone else having that problem?

Ran into the error message again and hit "new game" for the first time and it let me play the same game again. It's the first time I've seen my name on the stat list for a game. Exciting! Wish we could see the stats update with each game so that we could actually see our names come up when we beat out someone in one or more of the categories each time we play.

Hi namadorothy -

The next time you see that happen could you please email me a full screenshot to admin@boggled.org - you can take a screenshot by holding down ALT and the PRINT SCREEN button at the same time. That will copy your current view to the clipboard, and you can then CTRL-V (Paste) that image into the body of an email. That should give me all the info I need to troubleshoot this problem (which I've not yet seen myself).

This issue has now been resolved for good (I hope)... found the source of this bug this evening and should be all sorted from now on.

Hi,
I have been smoothly sailing along, playing the games until about two days ago. Suddenly the colors and font looked different on the scored words -- better. But also, there are new problems I didn't have before. At the end of a game when time's up it'll get stuck "Checking" the last word typed in and then eventually I'll get a "Server Not Found" screen or it'll simply stay in the "Checking" mode until I close the window. Also, since last night, I get the same puzzle over and over -- no new puzzle will come up when I click on New Game. Wordie

Ack, sorry about that. I did indeed make some code changes on Friday which seem to have triggered this issue. I've isolated and resolved this problem now, I hope - please try again and see if you have better results in pulling up games you've not played before.

I've not yet been able to replicate the problem with the game not automatically going to the final scoring page, but if that happens again, try clicking the "Time's Up!" text on the top right. That should get you to the scoring page if an auto-redirect fails for any reason.
